Definition of pronounciation in English?

Pronunciation is very important to understanding the language communication. It is a central of meaning in this case. Indonesian students generally find difficulties in learning English pronunciation through written materials. This is because they are accustomed to the reading every letter in Indonesia word, Indonesian is a phonetic language. By contrast; in English there is no correspondence between the letters and the sounds they represent. Therefore, it seems worthwhile to provide some notes on the pronunciation of the printed letters or written words. These notes are expected to facilitate the learning of the learning of English pronunciation without depending too much on the teacher.

The factor of motivation is very important to success in learning pronunciation and also learning media. One of media that can make the students critical thinking to saying some word correctly as pronunciation is electronic media, such as; computer and internet. In the same way, the teacher is not professional to make the student understanding about the material. As a teacher, it has more a learning method to teach those students for the great goal of learning.
